After receiving the first one that quit working within half an hour, Amazon replaced it. The replacement works great. It responds well, is palm sized, and no wires. Wonderful. Would recommend to others.

I own the discontinued model of this mouse (which I received as part of a rebate offer when I purchased my laptop), but am also ordering this one for my wife to use on her laptop. It looks as if the difference is that the dark color and silver color are reversed. I will see if there are other differences when I get the new one.

PRO: This mouse is great for netbook use. You don’t have to keep your hands on the keyboard/track pad; can easily scroll up and down; go back & forward; and switch apps all with the circular pad on top of the mouse. When in presentation mode it works great with PowerPoint and has a built in laser pointer to boot. The mouse it thin and light weight.

WORKS WELL AS LONG AS IT ISN’T USED ON A LIGHT COLORED MOUSE PAD OR SURFACE. OCCASSIONALLY THE CURSOR JUMPS AROUND THE SCREEN UNTIL YOU PICK THE MOUSE UP AND MOVE IT.

Works better than the old mechanical mouse that wore out. This a really good replacement for old mouses, the old ball turning pots would wear out, making it impossible to move in a horizntal direction.

I just purchased this mouse today. I inserted the wireless USB receiver, and it was recognized instantly on my HP Pavilion wide screen laptop. I also installed the software that came with it, but made no adjustments to the default settings. The software also logged on to the Kensington website and downloaded the latest upgrade.

Customer Review: Design flawed.
Mouse goes into sleep mode after 10 seconds of non-use. Waking it up requires movement or button press. Delay is irritating. By moving 1 inch and stopping, mouse does not even move cursor. A change in design or new drivers are needed to correct this delay problem and/or eliminate the “way too short” sleep mode altogether
