Evoluent VerticalMouse 3 Wireless Right Hand Mouse - Silver/Black The Evoluent VerticalMouse 3 Wireless is the advanced third generation of the revolutionary mouse from the inventor of the handshake grip. The patented shape supports your hand in a fully upright handshake position that eliminates forearm twisting to relieve wrist and arm pain. An ordinary horizontal mouse requires your forearm to twist away from its natural position. The grip is the same as on an ordinary mouse, just turned sideways into a handshake position. The VerticalMouse does not move sideways when clicking with normal force because the thumb naturally opposes the fingers. Pointer control is as accurate as any other good mouse when the pointer speed settings are properly adjusted. The compact USB receiver is slim enough to avoid blocking adjacent ports. The sensor never sleeps so pointer response is always instantaneous. A small lip on the bottom edge prevents the little finger from rubbing the desk. All 5 buttons are easily operable without contorting your fingers. The button force is light for easy clicking, but still firm enough to avoid accidental actuation. A high quality optical sensor with 1300 dpi true hardware resolution moves the pointer more quickly to reduce hand movements. Break Reminder - visual and/or audio alerts to remind you to take a break Resolution - 1300 dpi true optical hardware resolution Dimensions - Length 4.45 x Width 3.15 x Height 3.03 (113×80x77mm) Weight - 6.7 ounces (189 grams) with 2 AA alkaline batteries
Customer Review: it feels like it’s going to fall off your hand
I bought this after developing an ugly pain in my right wrist and it seemed to help. After 1 week I was already feeling better (perhaps also due to the wrist strap I was wearing). It’s ridiculously expensive (that’s why I give it 4 stars) but I didn’t have to pay for it (my company did) and I believe it’s worth it.
Customer Review: Saved my hand, great product !!!
Kudos to Evoluent! My uncle is a physical therapist, who turned me on to the VerticalMouse, he’s already been using the verticalmouse for years. I bought the first generation a while back, before that, I had pretty severe carpel tunnel syndrome, where I could barely get by the day without taking numerous breaks. After using the first generation model for a short time, the discomfort started dissipating to the point where I did not have to take any breaks. Now, I just got this new wireless version, design has some improvements over the old, and very accurate pointer, excellent reception. It sure saved my behind, might save yours too. I highly recommend giving it a try, the price you pay is nothing in comparison to a bad hand, heck, just one doctor visit can pay for this easily.
